L’Atelier Paris | Store Launch

When the doors of L’Atelier Paris opened at Oceans Mall’s Platinum Walk, it marked more than the arrival of a new store; it was the introduction of a distinctly Parisian luxury experience to South Africa’s east coast. Curated in collaboration with Gold’n Thread Consulting, the launch wove together the elegance of the French Riviera with the vibrancy of Umhlanga’s coastal sophistication.

Inside the boutique, guests moved through glittering displays of master craftsmanship—timepieces and fine jewelry from Breitling, Cartier, Fred, Le Page, Longines, Messika, and Tag Heuer. The collections shimmered under the glow of bespoke lighting, each piece telling a story of heritage and innovation.

Hospitality was no afterthought. Chef Carissa and her team at Bleu Berri Catering presented an Afro-French canapé menu, a contemporary dialogue between two culinary worlds. Each bite was complemented by the effervescent notes of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, chosen to echo the boutique’s signature sophistication.

The atmosphere crescendoed with a live setlist from Matt Davies and Tim Lewis, transporting guests to the boulevards of Nice and Cannes. This carefully orchestrated soundtrack, combined with the venue’s ambiance, offered a journey as layered as the jewelry collections themselves.

The evening was captured by Far South Media, whose photography immortalized not just the glamour of the night, but the seamless flow of a brand experience designed to feel timeless, intentional, and rare.

More than an opening, the event positioned L’Atelier Paris as a destination in its own right: where luxury heritage meets contemporary storytelling, and where every detail is considered part of the jewel.
